A caller told police that, while driving, people in a black Volkswagon Atlas pointed a sawed-off shotgun and another gun out the window at them

The Canora/Sturgis RCMP were dispatched to a complaint that a three-year-old child was found running around by himself near Norway Road in Canora.

Police say they found a man was sleeping in the bathroom of a restaurant in the 200 block of 22nd Street East.

Jordan Norfield died three days after he was transferred by ambulance to the Victoria Hospital from the custody of the Prince Albert Police Service.

Two accused make first court appearances, police say.

A police service dog and handler were successful in tracking the suspects to the area of 20th Street West and Avenue A South.

Travis Jean was arrested in Lloydminster and charged with first-degree murder.
