Building permit values continue to be up in North Battleford. According to the latest report for August, six permits were issued for $4,254,500, up from six permits for $1,106,500.

On Sept. 15 from midnight until approximately 6 a.m., SaskTel crews will be performing maintenance on the network infrastructure. During that timeframe, SaskTel internet, wireless, and landline phone services will be unavailable.

It’s estimated there are approximately 43,000 bears in Saskatchewan at the moment. This summer there have been reports of a bear entering a home in northern Saskatchewan, a bear attacking a runner and a bear hanging around a schoolyard.
