'Very chaotic' at crash site

Castanet Media, Kamloops Kamloops Mayor Ken Christian says the military has informed the city that an investigation team is on its way. "They will be here shortly," he told the media.

Castanet Media, Kamloops The fatal victim of the Snowbirds crash in Kamloops has been identified as Capt. Jennifer Casey, sources have confirmed to Castanet News. Casey was the public relations officer for the Snowbirds.

As of May 17, Saskatchewan has one new confirmed case of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 592. The new case is in the Far North region. Of the 592 reported cases, 142 are considered active.

UPDATE: Battlefords RCMP remain committed to focussing their search efforts on locating 57-year-old Andre Jacques. At this time, police have reason to believe Andre may have travelled to the Ontario and the Nova Scotia area.
