MAIDSTONE I’ve missed a couple of weeks of news due to visiting and medical appointments, so now I will try to catch up. Colleen was at Rylie and Chantal’s for supper Sunday night. Chantal and Colleen were shoppers in Lloydminster.

Remembrance theme all week at Maymont Central School

The theme for this week has been remembrance. Elementary students wrote essays and drew posters to hang in the gym during the Remembrance Day Service. Bulletin boards were created to honour the veterans and service people who fought in the wars.

MAIDSTONE — Maidstone Gully 4-H Club held a second general meeting Nov. 2. Project and committee reports were given. We decided on our calendar of events for the year. November is National 4-H month. We will be doing a battery drive Nov. 12.
