A 79-year-old man has been reported missing from the Mayfair area. Blaine Lake RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating George Olenyshyn who was reported missing Thursday, Aug. 27.

North Battleford Fire Department assisted ambulance crews in coming to the aid of a child Sunday at about 1 p.m. According the NBFD the 15-month-old had a plastic toy wrapped around his thumb. Firefighters were able to cut the toy off.

Aug. 20 the Battlefords RCMP Detachment received a report of a missing person. Thirteen-year-old Jonetta Bergland reportedly ran away from her caregiver’s home on the Moosomin First Nation. It is believed Jonetta is with friends in North Battleford.
