RCMP forced to use taser

Battlefords RCMP is investigating a theft that occurred at a business on the 1200 block of 100th Street at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 27.

A case stemming from a fatal collision north of the city on Highway 4 last December will return to provincial court in early April.

Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 26 calls for service between Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10. Monday • A blue 1987 Volvo 240/244 with Saskatchewan licence plate 885 JNX was stolen from the 1400 block of 100 Street overnight.
