What a difference a week makes. A week earlier, the Battlefords looked like they had two potential champions in the making in the Battlefords North Stars and the midget AAA Stars.

Between 6 a.m. Saturday, April 5 and 6 a.m. Monday, April 7, Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 60 calls for service. Among those calls were four false/nuisance 911 calls, three noise complaints and three false alarms. Saturday 9:13 a.m.

At approximately 7:45 Friday morning, Glaslyn and Turtleford RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a semi transport truck and trailers that struck two buildings at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Highway 4 in the village of Glaslyn.
