Candidates in the 2014 North Battleford byelection had a chance to meet the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce Tuesday night. Council candidates Ron Crush and Kelli Saemann made presentations to the board of directors at that monthly meeting.

The Cut Knife Colts are the 2013-14 SPHL champions. With the series tied 1-1, Cut Knife won two games last weekend to down the Shellbrook Silvertips 3-1 in the final series. Game three of the series was Friday night in Cut Knife.

Now the snow is melting every day so we should soon have drier streets and walks. The town man does a remarkable job of moving the snow around and keeping the streets as good as possible.
