Police say a 31-year-old brain injured Maidstone man was reported missing Friday. Maidstone RCMP say Russell Conlon was last heard from via a text message the previous evening. In that message, Conlon said he was in Winnipeg, Man.

A 42-year-old woman is facing multiple charges after commandeering a running vehicle with several children inside just after 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Frontier Mall parking lot.

The Battlefords North Stars stayed alive in the race for the Kramer Division title with a 5-1 win over the Kindersley Klippers at the Civic Centre Friday night. The North Stars opened the scoring in the first on the power play.

Seven people escaped a house fire on Witchekan Lake First Nation early Sunday morning, but police say one occupant, a child, is unaccounted for. Spiritwood RCMP responded to the call about 1:23 a.m.
