A man accused in connection to an armed robbery Feb. 20 has been remanded in custody. Steven Caudron was remanded by Judge Lloyd Deshaye in North Battleford Provincial Court following a bail hearing Wednesday.

Dear Editor Old Man Winter has certainly arrived, and we as residents of the Battlefords should be thankful that we have dedicated city and town employees and their managers.

Battlefords RCMP responded to 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday, including a case of tire slashing and a structure fire. Tuesday 7:55 a.m.

WINSLOW, Phyllis: Mrs. Phyllis Winslow, late of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, formerly of North Battleford, SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the age of 97 years.
