Head Coach and General Manager Kevin Hasselberg announced Thursday the Battlefords North Stars have traded a pair of 19-year-olds.

Dear Editor North Battleford city council received a request from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 70 here in North Battleford asking that the City waive the fees regarding costs related to a parade route needed for the provincial convention.

A 22-year-old man from Saskatoon is facing impaired driving charges and other charges after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 13th Avenue and 103rd Street in North Battleford. Police say the crash occurred Saturday at about 5:38 p.m.

A resolution on a request by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 70 to waive street closure fees has been tabled to the next council meeting. The resolution before the floor had called for the request to waive fees to be turned down.

Jim Toye has resigned as city manager in North Battleford. Toye's departure takes effect Dec. 31. He takes over Jan. 2 as the new city manager in Prince Albert.
