We now have a much clearer idea how the new Saskatchewan Hospital will look following the end of capital planning sessions. A week-long 3P (Production, Preparation, Process) Lean capital planning session took place last week in North Battleford.

The stands weren't quite as full as they usually are for North Battleford Beavers games Monday night, no doubt due to the cold weather. The chilly conditions didn't cool down the offence, though.

Working with the Fred Light Museum and the Town of Battleford, Battlefords Vintage Automobile Club is taking the lead on developing another display at the Fred Light Museum. The plan is to develop a 1940 era replica of the Fred Light Service Station.

David William Shury was born on Sept. 2, 1930 to William James and Florence Mildred Shury at Wilkie. He took Grades 1 through 5 at Drummond Creek School and Grades 6 through 12 at McLurg School in Wilkie.

It wasn't the best weekend for outdoor sports, but a few local volleyball players enjoyed some indoor exercise. VolleyTech Volleyball hosted a camp at the NationsWEST Field House for players from Grades 7-12.

Several changes to and a new name have been announced for the federal policing program in Saskatchewan. The name is now Integrated Organized Crime North (Saskatoon) and Integrated Organized Crime South (Regina).
