Battlefords MLA Herb Cox points to positives that came out of the recent, and at time turbulent, legislative session that wrapped up in Regina May 16.

The Edam Ladies fought off a late rally by the Battleford Bantam Bandits and went home with a 14-13 victory in Battlefords Ladies' Fastball League action Monday night. Edam dominated early, piling on the runs in the first few innings.

MacKENZIE: Rose Mary MacKenzie (née Pickford), January 20, 1920 - May 18, 2013, of Toronto, passed away peacefully in her 94th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Gordon George MacKenzie in 2002 and their son Douglas George MacKenzie in 2005.
