LABBÉ - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Réne Augustine Labbé, late of North Battleford, on January 17, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Réne was born on December 12, 1926 at North Battleford, SK.

It wasn't the nicest of days but that didn't stop all the New Horizons from showing up to curl on the lastTuesday in January. Those from out-of-town were the first there, some not knowing if they would get back home.

Seniors invited to Golden Age Supper

Kaiser was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Jan. 14. High went to Jean Hartman and low to Lil McMillan. Lil supplied the lunch. Bingo was played Jan. 16 with a good turnout. Volunteer callers were Dorothy Schwartz and Bev Stewart.
