Otis Jones was born at Bush Creek, Grant County in the state of Arkansas, U.S.A in 1890. While he was studying at the University of Little Rock, one of his professors asked Otis to accompany him for a tour of Canada.

The three Battlefords Bantam Barons teams co-hosted a 10-team tournament on the weekend. After three days of hockey and 18 games the Barons #3 found themselves playing for the B final.

Two AA Barons teams have already started their provincial runs. Sunday, the Battlefords Midget AA Barons hosted North East.

BURNARD: Steve Burnard passed away on June 16, at the age of 78, at 1:50 P.M. in the Meadow Lake Hospital with his family at his side. Steve Burnard spent the last year battling bone cancer. The funeral was in Livelong, Sask. on June 22, 2012.
