The North Saskatchewan River Hockey League saw six games over the weekend. Dec. 14 saw the Wilkie Outlaws play the Edam 3 Stars, the Turtleford Tigers face off against the Paradise Hill Hawks, and the Meadow Lake Stampeders play the St.

A pedestrian was injured following a morning collision near Cut Knife Thursday. According to Cut Knife RCMP, at around 7:50 in the morning, they responded to a call of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Hwy 40.

The Battlefords North Stars head coach and general manager Kevin Hasselberg has acquired 19 year old forward Troy Petrick from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL.
