The Edam Royals hosted the junior boys NWSD district volleyball playoffs, Oct. 27. There were eight teams which qualified for the district playoffs after competing in their division playoffs. The teams were divided into two pools of four teams.

Traffic delayed

There were traffic delays on the Highway 16 bypass Friday at about 9:30 a.m. after two vehicles collided. North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services report no injuries, but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
