Advance Polls Opening

The 2012 Municipal and School Board Election is on Wednesday, October 24th. However, those who cannot vote on election day can vote in the Advance Polls on October 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th and 20th at the North Battleford Public Library.

Former Battlefords Midget Star and North Star, Justin Waskewitch of Cut Knife is back in his home part of the province for his final year of junior hockey. Friday, Waskewitch was acquired by the North Stars from the Nipawin Hawks.
