Wednesday afternoon, RCMP were advising all motorists driving around Maidstone to be extremely careful, as Highway 16 and 21 were both in treacherous condition and have seen large numbers of jack-knifed semis, rollovers and vehicles in the ditch.

With 12 out of 19 polls reporting voters are showing strong support for former Saskatchewan Liberal leader Ryan Bater, who at that point had the most votes of any candidate with 692. Second among the frontrunners is Trent Houk with 604 votes.
