The Flin Flon Bombers entered the 2012-13 hockey season ranked as one of the best teams and through the first two weeks, they have proved why. The Bombers lead the Source Embroidery Power Rankings after a 4-0-0-0 start to the season.

As kids, my siblings and I had this thing about giving gifts. Be it birthday or Christmas we'd pack and wrap our presents to each other in the most outlandish way possible.

Engineers are working on the pedestrian light at Kildeer Drive and Territorial Drive. The light is out of service until approximately 2 p.m. today. Drivers and pedestrians are urged to be cautious while moving through the intersection.

Since the races for mayor in both Battleford and North Battleford are over thanks to acclamations for Derek Mahon and Ian Hamilton respectively, I am going to talk about the other campaigns going on elsewhere in the province.

I am tired of reading the News-Optimist about downtown North Battleford and how Carousel Bingo is a detriment to the situation.
