A 15-year old youth has been found guilty of both aggravated assault and weapons possession in connection to the BridgeFest stabbing incident from Aug. 27, 2011.

The Saskatchewan Drama Association's Region 8 Festival will be held from Thursday to Saturday of this week the Paradise Hill School. Thirteen schools from the region will be staging a wide variety of entertaining plays.

The North Battleford Comprehensive High School teams will play for provincial gold. Friday, the NBCHS girls beat Moose Jaw Peacock 72-59 and were scheduled to play for gold against Notre Dame at 5 p.m. today.

There would be no better time for Tanner Schwab to score his first goal of the 2012 playoffs, then in overtime in an elimination game. Schwab broke a 1-1 tie mid way through the first overtime period Friday in Humboldt and made it a 3-2 series.
