Heritage farm hosts recreational fly-in
The heritage farmyard of Maria DeGirolamo was host to the 11th annual fly-in for the Recreational Aircraft Association July 7. The pre-arranged gathering of small aircraft welcomed 13 airplanes for an afternoon barbecue and social.

Annual sailing regatta draws competitors from Western Canada
Boats from Saskatchewan and Alberta gathered in Meota for the Battlefords Sailing Club Regatta once again. Although it was perfect lake weather Saturday it wasn't ideal for sailing because of the lack of wind.

While on holidays, I was shown through a most interesting factory in Humboldt. This factory makes portable stages for all over North America. The main sections of the stage are made from 3/4 inch Douglas fir shipped from Oregon in the United States.
