RCMP search on after possible drowning near Cut Knife

Cut Knife RCMP are investigating the possible drowning of a 60-year-old man at a regional park in the area. They report received a call around 1:55 p.m. July 10 that an unknown male had drowned in a lake at Atton's Regional Park.

Birthdays celebrated

The May-June potluck birthday noon lunch was held at the Maidstone Drop In Centre June 22 with 22 seniors present. Seated at the birthday table were Bev Stewart, Dorothy Harmel and Helen Ross.

Bandits win provincial bantam title at home.

It could not have been a better ending for the Battlefords Bandits at the provincial bantam B girls' tournament they hosted.
