Soccer regionals took place across the province on the weekend and four schools from the Northwest made it through their regional tournaments and are set for provincials this weekend. John Paul II hosted the 2A boys' and girls' regional draws.

The volunteers who put together Edam's annual Spooktacular promise to scare the yell out of you. This year the theme of their popular frightening installation is Haunted House. Organizers insist no scarier haunted house has ever been assembled.

Dear Editor The "Occupy Canada" movement that took place recently inspired me to write saying the NDP should once again occupy Saskatchewan before it is too late.
