The Grade 5 and 6 students of École Père Mercure participated in a provincial kinball tournament in Prince Albert. Kinball is an interactive sport that promotes co-operation, sportsmanship and teamwork.

This week at Maidstone High School has been exciting. Our junior girls' volleyball team won their division and will be moving on to districts. Friday, we send our senior girls' volleyball team to conferences in Spiritwood.

Sewing retreat enjoyed

I would like to thank Battlefords Publishing (Becky Doig) for the lovely dinner we had Oct. 20. It was enjoyable and nice to meet fellow correspondents.
