Living Books in Borden celebrated its 25TH anniversary Aug. 20 with distributors and representatives converging on the community to participate in the quarter-century milestone.

Dear Editor Saturday, about 25 former students from Battleford Collegiate Institute are meeting for lunch at Vera's Diner in Battleford. They are coming from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

A passenger vehicle fire happened Aug. 26 just north of North Battleford on Highway 4. The incident happened about 12 kilometres north around 6:40 p.m.

As I wander around Meota it is evident the month of August is over. In other months of the year I don't always realize the month is ending, since there is not always some indicator that alerts me.
