Council notes for June 13 meeting

Here is a rundown of some business that took place at Monday's council meeting. The 2010 audited financial statements for the year ending Dec. 31, 2010 were presented by Barry Svenkeson of the accounting firm Holm Clements Kwong Svenkeson Raiche.

Student achievement celebrated

Borden School Community Council served up a free barbecue supper prior to the school's awards night The Affinity CU $500 scholarship went to Tom Wensley and the Kare Ag $500 went to Melissa Saunders, both Grade 12 students.
