Chaylene Bear had her scratch 'n' win lottery ticket for more than a week before discovering it was a $10,000 winner. The North Battleford resident purchased a $3 Bingo Pot of Gold ticket from Foodland. She scratched the ticket the following day.

Another hockey season has come to an end and for our senior Three Stars, not as they had hoped with the league championship going to St. Walburg. However, the Junior Three Stars came home with a hat trick in the STEP League this year.
