Bingo warms up a blustery evening

Borden Parks and Recreation Board held a bingo in Borden School gym on a blustery Jan. 12 evening, with about 30 out to play 20 games of bingo. Donated prizes were won by those attending and the cash 50/50 of $36.50 went to Lottie Petriew.

Fire disaster fund set up for newly married couple

Dean and Heidi Phipps of Marshall lost everything, including their dog, in a fire Jan 11. Heidi is the daughter of Denise Nichol from the Borden Art and Eatery. Dean and Heidi were married last summer and had a new RTM home at Marshall.

Yellowhead plant now running
