At some point in their lives, every baseball player has dreamt of hitting a walk-off home run in a championship game. A Battlefords Bantam Crackmaster Beaver had the opportunity to do that and made the most of it.

A fire at the Bready School playground was one of several incidents to keep emergency and fire crews busy over the holiday weekend. According to North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services, the playground incident happened June 30 around 8:30 p.m.
