It's 5:30 in the morning and, while I'm still in bed thinking about how much I hate Mondays, the snowplows are already out and about, clearing the highways.

The snow has piled up during the past week with some falling each day. Fortunately, up until now, we have not had much wind, but the forecast says that is about to change. Perhaps we will be looking forward to blown in paths and roads.

Water main break under control

There were more water problems for the City of North Battleford last week - this time, a water main break in the north end. The break happened at 101st Street and 20th Avenue Friday afternoon, and the street was blocked to traffic.

Drive carefully on icy roads

We have once again been enjoying a few days of mild weather, with cold weather due towards the end of the week. Driving carefully is the order of the day, since the warmer days and colder nights bring icy roads.
