Municipal Elections 2012The second call for nominations in this fall's municipal elections closed on October 3. Four towns in the area required further calls for nominations for council positions: Bruno, Colonsay, Lanigan and Watson. All four had candidates come forth to run or were elected by acclamation.Two Bruno residents are vying for one council position. They are Kimberley Fetter and Laurel Grayson. An election will be held for this council position on October 24.In the town of Colonsay, Darlene Baczuk was elected to council by acclamation.In Lanigan, only one person decided to run for the one council seat available. He is Dean Wolter.And in Watson, two residents have stepped forward for the two council seats needing to be filled.They are Norma Weber and Maria Strasser.
