It is an organization for all. The Food Connection For All, a non-profit organization that runs programs like the Collective Kitchen and Community Garden, has changed a lot since its inception.

They've done it. The St. Mary's Villa Foundation (SMVF) has raised enough funds to purchase a new bus for over 100 residents of the level four care home in Humboldt. The SMVF made the announcement on July 16 that they had reached their goal.

It was a wet weekend for the Muenster Midget AA Red Sox. The Red Sox played two away games on July 14. In the first game, against Moose Jaw, Muenster won the game 7-2.

They're using bridge to cross the country. Donald Buttinger and Lorrence Pfeil will be competing at the national 55-Plus Summer Games in Nova Scotia in August, thanks to a bronze medal win at the provincial event in Saskatoon July 3-5.

The week didn't start off too well for the Marysburg Royals, but they made up for it when they got to home turf on Sunday. The senior baseball team from Marysburg played the Stallions in Saskatoon on Wednesday.

There's been a lot of digging and a lot of dirt piled up around the Humboldt Court House this summer, where there was once flowers and grass. But don't worry - it will be back to normal next summer, and court is going on as scheduled.

Over a thousand meals in one year. It's been a heck of a first year of operations for the Humboldt Soup Kitchen, which turned one on July 8. In just that single year of operation, they have served 1,102 meals on Thursday nights to people in need.
