Villa bus campaign reaches goal; new bus ordered
They've done it. The St. Mary's Villa Foundation (SMVF) has raised enough funds to purchase a new bus for over 100 residents of the level four care home in Humboldt. The SMVF made the announcement on July 16 that they had reached their goal.

Humboldt Soup Kitchen turns one
Over a thousand meals in one year. It's been a heck of a first year of operations for the Humboldt Soup Kitchen, which turned one on July 8. In just that single year of operation, they have served 1,102 meals on Thursday nights to people in need.
