BJORKDALE — Ayden Kehrig played in the Alberta Champions Cup tournament on the May 1 weekend in Edmonton, Alta. Her team went undefeated the entire tournament in the pool of 2007-08.

Operation costs for the new facility were a major discussion item. Early estimates place the extra costs at $143,000/year, which would be a city tax levy increase of two per cent if fully borne by taxpayers.

Police said the attempt to stop a loud ATV riding through the alleys near Main Street took place shortly after midnight on May 1. The ATV then took off from police at a high rate of speed eastbound on Highway 5.
