TISDALE — The Tisdale RCMP has located a Blu-ray player and television that was stolen in a break-and-enter at a Tisdale residence in the central part of town. The theft occurred on Sept. 7.

HUMBOLDT — A new goalie from B.C. has been added to the Humboldt Broncos’ stable. Tanner Marshall, a 20 year old from Kelowna, B.C., has been traded to the Broncos from the B.C. Hockey League’s Merritt Centennials for a player development fee.

HUMBOLDT — This year, it will be Futuristic Industries that will benefit from Fuel Good Day. On Tuesday, Sept. 15, 10 cents from every litre pumped at the Humboldt Co-op Gas Bar will be donated to Futuristic.

EAST CENTRAL — Horizon School Division is receiving $1.27 million in additional funding to help schools deal with COVID-19 restrictions, while the North East School Division is receiving $420,000.

RM OF LEROY — Copper wire was stolen from a power pole at a rural location somewhere in the RM of LeRoy. Humboldt RCMP said in a release Sept. 8 they were investigating the crime. “This type of theft poses a significant safety concern.
