HUMBOLDT — For those that need deliveries because they are self-isolating or quarantined, the Humboldt District Hospital Foundation is ready to help out.

TISDALE—The Town of Tisdale has announced that they will be closing the final RECplex services that haven’t had a closure previously announced, in an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

The Saskatchewan government announced Tuesday afternoon they would not be releasing the full provincial budget on March 18, instead providing “scaled-back estimates.

NAICAM —The Town of Naicam has announced they are closing municipal facilities to lower the spread of Covid-19. The facilities affected include the town office, town hall and Viking SportsPlex.

RCMP detachments will remain open to the public and local police officers will continue to be present in the community in the face of COVID-19. “We are prepared,” said Assistant Commissioner Mark Fisher, the Saskatchewan RCMP’s commanding office.

MELFORT — To minimize in-person contact and with City Hall closed due to COVID-19, the City of Melfort has come up with new procedures to access its services.

HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt and District Fire Department was proud to honour 160 combined years of firefighting with their department’s annual awards night.

EAST CENTRAL — Wapiti libraries in the province have announced they will close all of its branches to lower the spread of Covid-19. The closures will take effect on March 20, and will be reassessed on April 14.

TISDALE— While municipal facilities have closed in both Nipawin and Melfort, Tisdale's remains open. As of March 16, no municipal facilities are planned to shut down.

HUMBOLDT — The Uniplex, the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery, and the Reid-Thompson Public Library will be closed to the public effective Tuesday, March 17.
