WATSON — A man siphoned fuel from a gravel truck within the Town of Watson. Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP are asking for help to track down the suspect. The theft of fuel took place at around 11 p.m. on Jan. 6.

HUMBOLDT — Those that have put Humboldt on the map in 2019 will be recognized for their efforts at an upcoming Humboldt Broncos game.

HUMBOLDT — The CEO of the Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute has announced his retirement. Dave Gullacher will retire on June 30. He has been with PAMI for 35 years and served as CEO for 24 years.

MIDDLE LAKE — A business just off Highway 20 in Middle Lake saw someone enter and cause damage to a small building and a storage container on the property. Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP said the crime took place sometime between 5 p.m. on Jan. 3 and 8 a.m.

MELFORT — Melfort RCMP are asking the public for help to identify a man suspected to be connected to the theft of a debit card. The crime took place in Melfort on Nov. 13 or 14.

HUMBOLDT — A local lawyer has received an honour that few others in the province receive. Amber Biemans has received a Queen's Counsel designation from the province.

CARROT RIVER — Two Carrot River Outback Thunder standouts competed against the Prairie Junior Hockey League’s best in the PJHL’s first all-star game in more than a decade.

TISDALE — The Tisdale RCMP is investigating an attempted break and enter to a Tisdale business. While the investigation is ongoing, the RCMP is refraining on providing many details about the crime.

MELFORT — A snowfall warning and sketchy highway conditions have caused tonight’s battle between the Flin Flon Bombers and Melfort Mustangs to be cancelled. The two teams were scheduled to play Jan.

HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt Broncos have named their community ambassador Zach McIntyre is the RBC SJHL Ambassador for the team in the 2019-20 season. The fact was announced at the Jan. 7 home game against Notre Dame.
