Sobeys to remove plastic bags by January 2020
HUMBOLDT — A grocery chain with a store in Humboldt said it will remove plastic grocery bags from all of its stores. The bags will be removed by Sobeys’ 255 locations by the end of January 2020.

Humboldt Hammerheads place second at swimming provincials
HUMBOLDT — As a swim team, the Humboldt Hammerheads placed second at provincials. In Rosetown on July 27 and 28, the Hammerheads finished with 1,058 points. The first place Estevan Golden Eels had 1,271 points.
