MUSKOWEKWAN FIRST NATION —The Punnichy RCMP are looking for a grey SUV that could be connected to a serious assault with a firearm they are investigating.

IMPERIAL — After pleading guilty in a Saskatoon courtroom, three men from Imperial were fined more than $11,000 for violating the The Wildlife Act and The Wildlife Regulations .

MARYSBURG, DRAKE — Rural residents in the Humboldt area may be affected by two planned power outages. The area north of Marysburg is having an outage on May 22 from 10 am to 12 pm.

MCKAGUE — Those living east of McKague can expect a planned power outage on May 22. The power will be out from 1 pm to 4 pm for system maintenance

PLUNKETT — Plunkett will be hosting clean cars for clear water. The village is putting on a vehicle show and shine at their community center on June 15 to raise money for a new water system.

MELFORT — Work on Saskatchewan Drive will be happening over the summer including a new water line and new paving.

ZENON PARK — Thanks to a tip from the public, White Butte RCMP were able to recover most of the bees stolen from a farm near Zenon Park. Police said a 47 year-old man from Arborfield has been charged with theft over $5,000.

EAST CENTRAL — A balanced budget and infrastructural improvements in the east central region were highlights of the spring sitting of the Saskatchewan Legislature for local MLA Fred Bradshaw.

EAST CENTRAL — A provincial traffic safety grant from collected photo speed enforcement (PSE) fine revenue is being distributed to 27 communities throughout the province, totalling $498,732.

HUMBOLDT — When Battlefords North Stars head coach Brayden Klimosko was asked about what allowed his team to win the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) championship, the Humboldt product deflected any praise to his players.
