MELFORT — Youth 18 and under in Melfort may now be receiving tickets for positive contributions to the community through a Youth Positive Ticketing program.

HUMBOLDT — The committee members tasked with developing a memorial for the 2017-18 Humboldt Broncos has agreed on one thing: they want to take their time and make sure that it's done properly.

NIPAWIN — Prince Albert bull rider Tanner Byrne gave up his title to Jake Lockwood at the 7th annual Nipawin Professional Bull Riders (PBR). Byrne said while it “sucked” to lose the title, he was happy with how he did. He tied for third place.

HUMBOLDT — Difficult, but worth it is how Hannah Mulhern, 14, described her last three years of work towards earning a Canada Cord, the highest honour achievable as a Girl Guides Pathfinder.

MELFORT — After checking out his options, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Most Valuable Player decided to stay close to home. Melfort Mustangs standout Justin Ball has committed to play and the study at the University of Saskatchewan.

ENGLEFELD — A senior badminton team from Englefeld School medaled at the 2019 Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association Provincial Badminton Championships. Kara Miskolczi and Taevan Athmer won the silver medal in the mixed doubles.

NIPAWIN — Two senior badminton teams from Nipawin's LP Miller Comprehensive won medals at the 2019 Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association Provincial Badminton Championships.

HUMBOLDT — Lottery registration for the second annual Conexus Credit Union Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament is officially open to the public. Those interested can reach out to hbgolfmemorial@gmail.

TISDALE — Nineteen quilters displayed about 106 quilts at the bi-annual Tisdale Quilters show. Quilts ranged from images of coffee to bedazzled patterns.
