LANIGAN — Four teams competed in Langian to prove they are the best emergency response team at the Lanigan Nutrien potash mine.

WATSON — Every quilt at the Watson Quilt Show had a story. Some were as simple as a Mickey Mouse quilt for a grandson who loved the character, while others were responses to seasonal challenges imposed by the Watson Quilters’ Guild.

TISDALE — The Tisdale Trojans have won the bronze at the national Telus Cup. The Trojans won the April 28 final game against the Calgary Buffaloes in Thunder Bay 3-2.

TISDALE — The Cantonniers de Magog had won every game in round robin at the national Telus Cup, but the Tisdale Trojans weren't about to let them win the semifinal without a fight.

CARROT RIVER — There are many opportunities out there for youth to learn leadership skills – but not many are taught by horses.

TISDALE — The Tisdale Trojans are going to the national Telus Cup semifinals. On April 27 at 4 pm Saskatchewan time, the Trojans will face off against the Cantonniers de Magog. The Trojans ended round robin with two wins and three losses.

HUMBOLDT — A continuing interest in Humboldt Broncos merchandise over the hockey season has netted the hockey team close to $26,600. “We continue to sell Broncos merchandise and Broncos apparel,” said Mike Yager of Spotlight Sport and Corporate Wear.

HUMBOLDT — For Mason Bunko, the road to competing in a strongman competition began when he started to go to the gym. With Christine Cardenas as his trainer, the 13-year-old Humboldt resident found out he loved weightlifting.
