TISDALE — If community members see more RCMP officers sitting out by stop signs, it’s not by chance. In mid-April the Tisdale detachment spent a week focused on stop signs in particular.

FLIN FLON — Flin Flon Bomber fans have some reasons to pay attention to this year’s Telus Cup Midget tournament.

GUERNSEY — Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP are looking into two cases of vandalism in Guernsey. Police learned of the first one on April 8. A mirror was torn off the driver’s side of a black Ford truck parked in a resident’s property.

LANIGAN — Two trailers were stolen from a business in Lanigan. The thefts are believed by Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP to have taken place between April 7 and April 8.

HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt RCMP are trying to track down two dangerous and reckless ATV drivers that drove through the city in the night. The two men drove the ATVs between the hours of 11 pm and around 1:30 am April 19 and 20.

HUMBOLDT — A white 2007 Ford F-350 crew cab truck and a 2004 tandem axle Rainbow tilt deck trailer were stolen from a facility in Humboldt. Humboldt RCMP believe the theft took place between April 16 and April 18.

LANIGAN — A merger of the two Lanigan schools into a single school has been added to the Horizon School Division’s wish list.

HUMBOLDT — The journey for Candace Savage’s newest book began when she saw the name of the first man to own her Saskatoon home: Napoleon S. Blondin.

TISDALE — The Calgary Buffalos stampeded the Tisdale Trojans in the third period, resulting in a 6-4 loss for Tisdale. The April 25 game was the fourth game for the Trojans at the national Telus Cup in Thunder Bay, Ont.

TISDALE — The Town of Tisdale has taken $1.2 million in loans for the sewer infrastructure renewal project. The project includes a new sewer lift station, new lagoon and a new pipe out to the lagoon.
