A partnership between Hanfood and Cumberland College will allow the two to work together to research ways to improve their food products and train workers with the skills the company needs.

Atom Tier 1 The Atom Tier 1 Broncos are championship bound after beating the Shellbrook Elks in their semi-final series. The Broncos kicked off their series on a high note as they routed the Elks 9-3 on March 13 in St. Louis.

The empty seat on Nipawin council has been filled. Sheldon Chornawka was the only candidate to send a nomination form by the Feb. 21 deadline, so he has been acclaimed to the position. Chornawka replaces Ray Serack, who resigned Jan. 11.

It might have been a Hard Knock Life for the Skate Humboldt skaters but they were Sparkling Diamonds and All That Jazz for their performances at their Salute to Broadway show on March 18.

Playing at home is a different animal to playing on the road in the playoffs and the Nipawin Hawks learned that the hard way.
