An Aylsham woman is fundraising for a much-needed service dog. Tracey Sandbach experiences panic attacks and paranoia. Her situation has worsened to the point that a dog is necessary if she wants to live on her own, according to her doctors.

Melfort will see two new physicians come to the city in July. Unlike most of the doctors in the Northeast, Melfort doctors are paid through a fee-for-service model as opposed to a salary.

The City of Melfort is now playing a waiting game to see what’s going to happen with Prince Albert’s bid to separate its John M. Cuelenaere Public Library from the Wapiti Regional Library.

The Humboldt and District Sports Hall of Fame has announced their 2017 induction class. This year’s class contains five inductees including one team, one builder and three athletes/builders.

The Humboldt Broncos picked up a huge 2-0 victory over the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Feb. 15 in Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League action, on a momentous night for Broncos defenseman Connor Swystun.

Teacher/Staff appreciation week has been declared by the Saskatchewan government as Feb. 12-18. This is something to be celebrated.
