Former school building to be sold
We haven't had much thunder yet this summer, but Sunday we had a number of thundershowers. There was still plenty of moisture from last week's rains so today's showers just slowed down the weeding process in gardens.

Former resident writes memoir
Maymont had a visit at the seniors' center June 17 from Ted Turner, author of Beyond The Farm Gate. Liz Clayton, Valerie Gray, June Rogers and Laura Spence made this visit possible. There were about 20 people who attended.
