Residents enjoy museum corn roast

Ann Stewart and her daughter Dawn of Saskatoon were Tuesday visitors with Jean Stewart. They have been long-time friends. Cameron Stewart of Paynton was also in to see his mom Jean Stewart. He brought her some fresh vegetables and fish.

Norman and Ennie Linkert of St. Walburg stopped in to see Tillie Linkert on their way home from a wedding.

A number of apartment people enjoyed the annual corn roast at the museum Monday.

Tuesday morning coffee was enjoyed at the Pine Island Suites with show and tell, bingo and some good jokes.

Darlene Robb took her mom Lil McMillan to Deslisle where she visited her sister Betty and Steward Hanson and other relatives in the district.

Colleen Koski was to Lloydminster for a medical appointment and to do some shopping.

Joyce and Ron Hagan of Camrose, Alta. were to visit with Colleen Koski and were up to see May Ford at the lodge.

Duncan MacEachern of Marsden took me up to Cold Lake where we spent an enjoyable weekend with Ken and Pam MacEachern.

September is now here, back to school and harvest are in full swing. Hope the weather holds and the crops can be harvested once again.

I will be away for a while visiting my family in British Columbia and will be back to news when I return home.
