The Battlefords and District Community Foundation recently presented the annual grant from the Peggy Westwood Fund to the Battlefords and Area Sexual Assault Centre. The grant will help BASAC with their continued prevention and healing programs.

Taco Time has been in North Battleford owned by Pat Welford and Tammy Heinemman for 13 years. Welford has sponsored Welcome Wagon in the Battlefords since April 2004, 10 years of providing newcomers with a coupon for a free meal.
