It looks like spring has arrived, at least for a while. The students have been enjoying the weather and really like being able to play outside again. It has been a busy week at the school.

Isn't today the first day of spring on the calendar? Does it feel like it? The rash of sunshine and warm weather March 8 - 14 was fantastic.

Spring? No crows or gophers yet

Finally I think it is safe to say spring has found us! For the last week we have had melting snow but no word of crows or gophers yet. I will be waiting for Henry Konopelski to make the report of the first sightings.

Now the snow is melting every day so we should soon have drier streets and walks. The town man does a remarkable job of moving the snow around and keeping the streets as good as possible.

School division workshops on technology advances

Technology is always changing and this is very evident in the school. The days of copying work on a Gestetner are gone. The school is now full of computers, SMART Boards, iPads, photocopiers and the wireless.
