Michael Brokop retiring next week

Michael Brokop, who has curated the Chapel Gallery for the past six years, is retiring next week. For his retirement, the gallery will be hosting a "come and go tea" August 28 at 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel Gallery.

Bus tour group visits Maidstone Museum

Maidstone Museum members welcomed a bus tour group of 47 people Aug. 9. Members provided guided tours and a bountiful lunch was served. With the help of a few new younger members, numerous jobs have been accomplished.

The Radisson and district 97th annual fair was held Aug. 11 and 12 with two nice hot days for people to come out and enjoy the parade, musical jamboree, horse events, vintage tractor pull, pancake breakfast and ball tournament.
