Theatre group completes hall renovations

Cochin Community Players have completed renovations of its theatre site in the Resort Village of Cochin. The Cochin Community Hall has been the venue for stage productions since 1996.

Car-Mel Country will be performing at Telemiracle Sunday at 9 a.m. Jean Sherman and daughters Diane Sevick, Donna Scherr and Denise Bernier have returned from a two-week holiday in Hawaii. The time was divided between Oahu and Maui.

The average age of a senior belonging to SSAI is approximately 84 and the seniors of that age have seen many changes, not only here in Saskatchewan but in Canada and also in the rest of the world.

Students host Golden Age Supper

"500" cards was cancelled Feb. 11. We need more players to keep the card events going. Anyone of any age is welcome to come. Cards start at 2 p.m. and are usually over by 4 p.m.

Tillie Linkert had her daughter Bev and Don Nicholson of St. Walburg to visit. They were just back from a trip to Hawaii. A number of the apartment people enjoyed supper at Cindy's Place and listened to Chilby play the violin.

There isn't that much to report this week, but will give you what I have. The 2013 Minnehaha Snowmobile Rally was held Feb. 17. A total of 198 riders enjoyed scenic trails and lots of snow, with riders from Red Deer and Fort McMurray, Alta.

Sump pump sales will be brisk this spring

After two weeks on the white sand beaches of Veradero, Cuba, Shelly and I arrived back to the white snow banks of Rabbit Lake! Man, it had snowed even more after we left.
